Kevin Hart was involved in a major car accident at work, riding like a passenger in the old Plymouth Barracuda with two others who somehow left the road and found themselves in a ditch. Now, TMZ has gathered some new details about the crash and it sounds like Hart's injuries may be even wider than the initial reports suggested. According to unnamed sources, of course, Hart suffered multiple spinal fractures in the crash, and although the initial merger operation of the two was successful, a very dramatic report by TMZ notes that it is still "going through hell" And it is "highly medicated" to deal with the pain. It is still expected to be fully recovered, but it may take "several weeks – if not months", so some of our upcoming projects are being influenced (though nothing has been officially announced).
Meanwhile, the search for TMZ for whatever, you know, TMZ – friendly angles to the disaster apparently turned out to be empty: Site sources say Hart spent the day with his wife at home, and he and the other two people in the car had not been on a "wild night in town at a bar or restaurant" before the crash. The driver, Jared Black, apparently received similar injuries to Hart, but his current condition has not been confirmed.
