LEXINGTON, Ky. (LAX 18 / LA Times) – The LA Times reported that the livestock breeders have decided to keep the Santa Anita parks in California. will have no comment at the meeting held on Thursday. We know that the meeting was to discuss the logistics of the move to this year's Luisville breeders in light of what happened in Santa Anita Park, but according to the LA Times, races will remain in California.
The California track has had 30 deaths from equidae since December. Many believe the easiest solution is to turn the schedule of meetings with Louisville, who is in the schedule for the event in 2021. Keeneland will be hosting next year.
However, this "easy" solution is more difficult than it seems. Santa Anita has been preparing for years to host this autumn as well as their local hotels and other establishments.
