Lady Gaga grabbed nine nominations for this August’s MTV Video Music Awards and no one is more excited than her by the lady herself.
Gaga and Ariana Grande leads the competition with nine nods, including a video comedy of the year for his megaclub “Rain on Me”.
“I’m so grateful and so blessed that I have nominations for 9 #VMA this year for my album Chromatica, for Rain On Me and other performances I’ve given,” Gaga tweeted.
“It’s such a difficult time for people all over the world, it’s really an honor how lucky I am to have a day like today.”
Gaga felt so loved and continued: “I hope you will all be celebrating at this time, everyone should be nominated for an award right now. For courage, for courage, for the strong human spirit. God bless you and I love you thank you for this gift today. “
Chromatica he is already a winner. It was ranked №1 on the Billboard 200 after its release on May 29, for Gaga’s sixth leader in the rankings.
The new album was originally scheduled for release on April 10, but was pushed back due to the health crisis.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2020 will air on Sunday, August 30 at 8pm ET, live from downtown Brooklyn Barclays.
Fans can now vote in 15 categories on this link. Voting ends on August 23, although VMA followers can cast their votes for PUSH’s best new artist category to date.
