Launch of SpaceX Starlink: How to watch Falcon 9 reach a big stage tonight

The launch of the Falcon 9 can typically carry about 60 Starlink satellites.

SpaceX aims to release its 1

6th batch of its Starlink broadband satellites on Sunday, a day after Elon Musk’s successful rocket company sent a new orbit to NASA and the European Space Agency.

Enhancing a new group of orbital routers has become routine for SpaceX as it runs building a mega-constellation
with thousands of individual satellites in low Earth orbit. But this mission will put a new feather in Musk’s hat.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket is set to make its seventh flight, which would be a record for rocket recycling for the company. Previously, the booster performed four Starlink missions and a couple of larger launch satellite telecommunications.

SpaceX will probably try to land the booster of a drone in the Atlantic shortly after launch and may try to catch both halves of the bow cone or fairing with another pair of ships.

All this is happening after SpaceX launched another big launch from the other side of the country. Saturday morning, another Falcon 9 was blown up by Vandenburg Air Force Base in California carrying the new NASA / European Space Agency Sentinel 6 satellite Michael Freilich, designed to monitor global sea level rise and improve the weather forecast.

The Starlink launch was originally scheduled to take place just ten hours after the Sentinel 6 mission took off, but was postponed by a day.

The launch is scheduled for 9 p.m.: 56 h ET / 6: 56 PT Sunday. You can watch the whole thing here:
