When we are constantly bombarded by information about scandals, politics and natural disasters, it is difficult to choose one thing to indignate. The washing machine has a suggestion – get angry! About! Most! Panama! Documents!
(What were Panama Papers? Don't worry, 2016 was a busy year. It was a colossal leak of details about tax evasion in offshore taxes and money laundering by the super rich. Welcome!) Unfortunately, the character we have to sympathize with is hardly a plot device whose job is to support the film emotionally, but still has not been given screen time to do so. And this is Meryl Bloody Streep!
