Watch dogs: Legion is set to receive its first major update tomorrow, introducing a supernatural new character, two additional types of recruitment and more online content.
The new character, Mina Sidhu, is described as a “tested subject” who brings mind control powers to DedSec. She can possess enemies to safely pull out her friends and make people meaningless with a mental explosion. Her strength is recharged, so she will still have to get her hands dirty from time to time.
Watch dogs: Legion players will also be able to hire two new types of recruits, DJs and First Responders, both of which come with their own unique bonuses and features. In addition, each character that can be hired now has the chance to appear with five new personality changes – from the removal of currency to additional ammunition reserves.
Online modes are also expanding with five stand-alone tasks, two new cooperative drones and three cooperative missions, which Ubisoft describes as:
Dysfunction introduces the cousins, a pair of Clan Kelley hackers who are holding the hostages of the London judiciary and demanding the termination of all cases against Clan Kelley members, prompting DedSec to intervene.
Melting puts DedSec on the trail of a possible experimental plasma weapon acquired by the Kelly Clan, which criminals appear to be using to carry out hard-to-trace killings.
Confiscation of property gives Albion a cache of data belonging to the original DedSec, which the private military plans to use to locate current DedSec operators – unless players can reach them first.
As for updates, this Watch dogs: Legion the expansion is quite significant. While Mina is available as part of the season map, the other content described above is free for anyone who still plays Ubisoft’s anti-fascist simulator.
