Lenovo’s ThinkReality A3 smart glasses can display up to five virtual displays

Lenovo has released a new ThinkReality device for CES 2021 and the company says that it is “one of the most modern and versatile” smart glasses for corporate customers. The manufacturer presents the ThinkReality A3 as a pair of smart glasses that can be used for applications such as 3D visualization and targeted augmented reality workflows at a time when the world is “seeking to adopt new technologies for smart collaboration.” Unlike the first ThinkReality model, the A6, which looks like your typical mixed-reality headset, this one looks more like a pair of sunglasses. However, companies can modify it with Lenovo̵

The ThinkReality A3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 SoC for virtual and mixed reality headphones. It can display up to five virtual 1080p displays and has an 8-megapixel camera that can provide 1080p video, as well as dual fisheye cameras for scale tracking. The headset still needs to be connected to either a computer or a Motorola smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or better via USB-C to work.
