Leonid meteor shower 2019: When, how to see Leonid meteor shower

Take a look in the sky this weekend to catch the summit of Leonid's meteor shower.

On the night of November 16-17, the night sky will see around 20 meteors per hour, according to AccuWeather, The best time to see the soul is after midnight with the constellation Leo high above. The meteors will appear to be descended from Leo, though you do not have to look in that direction.

The moon will compete with the Leonids, so be sure to avoid the moon from your sight for your best shot at showering, find a dark area and lie down to have the whole night sky before your eyes. Remember to dress warmly too!
