White House Liberal PBS correspondent Jamice Alkindor was ridiculed for asking a White House official Monday how President Biden could heal the “scars”
“Can you talk a little bit about how President Biden plans to convince especially our European allies that former President Trump is an anomaly in some respects?” she asked National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. “All the things he has done to somehow traumatize these leaders, calling into question the need for NATO. What is the plan there and are there any fears that these scars will be deeper than his ability to deal with them in this one trip? “
Sullivan said it shows that the United States is capable of putting the coronavirus pandemic behind it and stimulating global growth more effectively than rhetoric. This week, Biden is heading to Europe for a series of summits, including a G7 economic summit and a face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 16th.
PBS RECEIVES “ACTIVIST” NAME REPORTER JAMIC ALCINDOR AS WASHINGTON WEEK DOMAIN
Alcindor’s busy question again drew criticism from the frankly progressive reporter, who also once told Biden that “he has an idea of you that has chosen you as a moral, respectable man.” Some note her editorial position that Trump has the ability to “traumatize” other world leaders.
“Defund PBS”, published by Daily Caller with a video of the question.
Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Rebecca Heinrix struck Biden for waiving sanctions against Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, a move she claims “empowers Putin and weakens NATO.” Trump’s pressure on NATO’s European allies to meet defense spending alliance commitments has sparked anger around the continent, but his pressure has been attributed in part to member states’ subsequent increases in defense budgets.
“It’s an abnormal thing to say, even if the rest of the world has adopted the same kind of therapeutic middle-class language that this reporter encounters on Twitter,” wrote Joe Simonson of the Washington Free Beacon.
LIBERAL WHITE HOUSE REPORTER ALLOWS “SOURCES” TO ANONYMOUSLY RELEASE PRELIMINARY CONVERSATION POINTS
Alkindor is also a contributor to the liberal MSNBC, where she often appears on such pro-biden shows as “Deadline: The White House.” She was one of several reporters who repeated Biden’s false refrain that the administration was left without a plan to distribute vaccines when it took office.
Alcindor too provoked criticism in November, when she enthusiastically repeated an anonymous Democrat, describing Biden’s proposed cabinet as “superheroes.”

“I spoke to a Democrat who just said it also felt like the Avengers,” Alcindor told MSNBC. “We felt like we were saved from this madness we’ve all been through for the last four years, and now here are the superheroes coming to save us all.”
