Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Monday that Big Tech’s recent move to censor President Trump in response to the Capitol riots by Trump supporters last week.
“Many people will be super unhappy with the high technology of the West Coast as a de facto arbiter of free speech,” Musk tweeted in a satirical article entitled “The Evil Fascist Dictator Censored and Voted Outside the Office.”
Earlier, Musk opposed Big Tech’s censorship in June after calling on Amazon to censor the publication of a book on the coronavirus.
- Facebook has announced that it will block Trump̵
- Twitter immediately followed suit, announcing its own permanent ban on Trump on Friday.
His latest comment comes just days after Musk hit Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on the violence that followed in the US Capitol.
