The Colts' offensive line quickly established itself as one of the top teams in the NFL in 2018. Among the division is sophomore Quenton Nelson, who is embarking on an impressive rookie campaign.
Nelson is as nasty as he gets in the trenches. For his efforts, he won the First-Team All-Pro and a trip to the Pro Bowl. The Nelson addition helped turn one of the worst offensive lines into a top-5 group in a single season.
Jerry Tilly Charger Protective Devices will be regularly upgraded by Nelson. However, this will not be the first for Tillery Tillery and Nelson have been teammates at the University of Notre Dame for three seasons (2015-201
There are not many weaknesses to Nelson's game, but among them is that he is not so dominant with lateral movements in pass defense and can abandon his technique. Tillery has lateral speed, hip flexibility, flexibility, along with the strength and length to line up and throw to beat him.
Tillery and Justin Jones cannot afford to allow Nelson to win in the trenches. If they fight him, the pressure may come from outside Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, but they will only allow holes to be drilled for Marlon Mack.
This will be a good test for a rookie and a year of defensive gear. Many people, including coach Anthony Lynn, are excited to see Tillery's regular debut for the season and the progress Jones has made over the past few months.
"Tillery will be back there with JJ. I look forward to seeing these two play it safe, "Lynn said.
