Listeria monocytogenes is a pathogenic bacterium that can cause listeriosis. Listeriosis can cause fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea in healthy individuals.

However, the infection can be fatal for some people. Pregnant women and their newborns, adults over 65 years and people with weakened immune systems are most at risk, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

About 1,600 people are infected with listeriosis each year and approximately 260 die, according to the CDC.

Mann Packaging says that customers should discard all affected products. If customers have any questions, they should contact the company at 1-844-927-0707 or send an email to the company at@mannpacking.com.
