New weapon

Wakizashi (available now)

A weapon for personal protection and an auxiliary sword to the samurai katana, this traditional wrought blade uses two types of steel in its construction and is light, strong and durable.

Compared to the standard knife, Wakizashi offers slightly better range in exchange for speed, which opens up new strategies for those who swear to lead knives to a shootout.

Like the Streetsweeper rifle, the Wakizashi can be unlocked through an in-game challenge, where it can then be leveled for camouflage and XP. A plan from the same family of weapons is also available today in the all-new Disavowed Assassin package.

Operator Zeina joined the battle on January 21

NATO has won another bad operator for its ranks, with Zeina Osu, last seen with Bulldozer and Russell Adler at The Pines Mall to take down Stitch, to be available for deployment next week.

This Senegal-born DGSE specialist in mobility and heavy weapons has been an engine for as long as I can remember. Growing up around her father’s rally driver’s garage, she jokes that she has gasoline in her veins. Although she is risky and a bit of a wild card during infiltrations, Zane’s colleagues know her as the one you want on top of the spear.

Take Zeyna for Cold War and Military zone as part of a Package of Stores during Season One.

Two multiplayer maps

Sanatorium (Live now)

Ten detachments of four will head to the Ural plains to fight for targets and vehicles by land, sea and air.

Here in the Urals is a Soviet experimental health retreat – the focus of a secret investigation by NATO forces in September 1984. The low wooded hills provide cover for reconnaissance teams over the main, roughly round main “hotel”: concrete, a brutal architectural hippopotamus surrounded by lakes. structures and a large wooden dock.

With links to secret tests at the U-23 State Sanatorium, notes found in the area of this sprawling complex show a conditioning test known as Project Head.

Express (6v6) (February 4)

Returns from Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Express arrives on February 4 at Cold War as a 6v6 favorite for multiplayer, affectionately known as the high-tech train station, which hosted many relegation points in the race Call of Duty history.

Express is an approximately U-shaped map, including two train tracks that revolve around the main hall of the transport hub. Players can expect many battles up close in the hall, but it should be noted that its glass ceiling makes it susceptible to enemy Scorestreaks.

Long-distance battles can be fought over train tracks, especially when viewed from celestial bridges on either side of the map. These areas are also great places to watch one of the high-speed trains, which is transferred to the station on one of the tracks, where he will not hesitate to take out any operator who does not mind.

Multiplayer modes

Cold War The multiplayer gets even more new game modes in Season One, as well as the sequel to the fast-paced 3v3 experience, Face Off.

Dropkick (Live now)

This frantic game of nuclear hot potatoes involves two teams, each of which competes to control an extremely important briefcase. The round begins with each team competing for the place of the nuclear briefcase and trying to take it. Anyone who grabs the briefcase is automatically equipped with a powerful pistol, but ideally the rest of the team depends on keeping the briefcase safe. The team with the case gets access to start codes, as well as an ever-increasing result for their team.

If you die while your team is monitoring the briefcase, you will not reappear until your operator is eliminated and the briefcase is removed. If your team does not carry the case, it must be removed and retrieved before it is too late. Once a team reaches the ball limit, controlling and owning the briefcase, the orders to carry out a nuclear strike are confirmed and the round is won … in an explosive way! The first team wins with 200 points.

Snipers Only Moshpit (during the season)

Get ready, snipers. Later in Season One, Treyarch introduced the new Snipers Only Moshpit mode Cold Warwhere two teams of six will throw in Team Deathmatch and Domination with all weapons limited except sniper rifles. Deadly and tactical equipment, as well as Scorestreak weapons (such as the War Machine), will also be limited to a purely sniper experience.

Endurance mode (during the season)

After the tactical variation of the Duos for this season, Black Ops Cold War the biggest game mode is about to take the experience with 10 teams to a whole new level.

In the upcoming endurance version, 10 teams of four will enter the Alpine, Ruka and Sanatorium to collect uranium and armed bombs throughout the match. However, once a bomb has detonated, a new one will now appear that will take its place, ensuring that there will always be five bombs instead of the original set of five, which is reduced to one bomb. This introduces a new layer of strategy and continuous action on these already intense battlefields with 40 players.

The result limit will also be doubled from 500 to 1000 in endurance mode, making this ideal for completing MP challenges. Join your team and experience the most complex cards in the game in a whole new way.

3v3 Face Off continues

This fast-paced, small-team mode is here to stay in Season One, and your trio is ready to claim dominance in respawn modes in four frantic cards in Cold War.
