“On Monday, November 23, we received some not-so-great news that my mother’s brain tumor was growing,” Menunos was quoted as saying by People magazine. According to the outcome, both Menous’ parents were hospitalized with COVID-19 just as news came that Facial’s brain tumor had grown.
Menounos and her husband, Keven Undergaro, rushed to the rescue.
“We landed and then it all started,” she said. “I will just share that we are in the process right now and we still need prayers. In short, within a few hours both my parents were diagnosed with COVID.”
Last September, Menunos shared a touching birthday post on Instagram in honor of Faces. She also shared that her mother had survived cancer for four years.
“In my darkest moments, fear never allowed me to see that day possible,” Menunos admitted. “I will fight for you and with you every day. I pray that God will give us many more years so that you can see your dream of grandchildren come true. Happy birthday, much more.”
