The release of the Jets, who are returning to Le’Veon Bell, probably became official at 4:00 p.m. ET. So when he becomes a free agent, where will he land?

Bears coach Matt Nagy was asked about the possibility of Bell signing in Chicago. Nagy didn’t rule that out.

“I think he’s good for running,” Nagy told Kimberly Martin of ESPN.com. “We absolutely love our RB here and our situation and will leave things at that [G.M.] Ryan [Pace]. “

The Bears lost to returning Tariq Cohen to a torn ACL in the third week. Bell, if healthy and motivated, would bring important momentum to the offense in Chicago, which was not as effective as necessary, despite the team’s 4-1 record.
