Mediatonic announced in its official blog that the pre-set launch window in 2021 for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions | S of the Fall Guys must be offset. No new release date has been set yet, but Mediatonic says it will happen at some point. In fact, according to the studio, the delay will give it more time to add additional features such as crossplay, which will allow players to play games together, regardless of the platform.
Fall Guys will receive many new seasonal editions of content, such as new shows, costumes, circles and more. The upcoming update of season 4.5 will present two new rounds and some autumn costumes for the boys. In early March, Mediatonic announced that Epic Games had acquired Tonic Games Group, the parent company of Mediatonic. Interestingly, a free-to-play model was hinted at during the acquisition, although nothing was actually cemented.
Fall Guys is a royal battle platform that first came out on August 4, 2020 for PC and PlayStation 4. Mediatonic also released titles such as Gears Pop !, Hatoful Boyfriend and Fantastic Beast: Cases from the Wizarding World, which also are under Epic Games.
