The team lives on! Okay, maybe.
Megan Markle has not left everything in her pre-royal life yet (find out more about her first date outfit here). While we know that she deleted her personal Instagram account when her relationship with Prince Harry, who is now the Duke of Sussex, became serious, her lifestyle blog, in which she pondered topics such as food, health and fashion, could still to be an opportunity for the Duchess of Sussex in the future.
Markle renews trademark for The Tig
Announces to The Sun (via Express) that Markle's business manager, Andrew Meyer, has discreetly renewed trademark for The Tig by 2021. meaning Markle has the rights to the name until then.
Some have accepted the renewal as a sign that the Duchess of Sussex may be planning her site for life under her royal household with Prince Harry in the near future. Remember that they split from Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to form their royal court or household, ie. office earlier this year.
But a spokesman for Markle told The Sun that the brand renewal was purely for protection.
"A lasting trademark is to prevent a false mark in order to avoid others who consider themselves Duchess or related," said the spokesman.
So, although Markle may still be attached to a part of his old life, that does not mean that he has plans to publish new blog posts on The Teague (we know we are sad too).
But that does not mean that we will have no hope that she can revise her old site and give it a royal twist. Knowing Markle, who was a person who occasionally pursues royal tradition and protocol, the blog may not be so resourceful.
When did Markle start his lifestyle blog?
Markle started the blog in 2014 as "a hub for the discerning palate – those with hunger for food, travel, fashion [and] beauty."
She ran Teague three years before announcing a post that her "little engine that can" would be gone when she closed the site and left only a landing page with a farewell message. Visit the site today and the page remains the same.
Surrounded by photos of Markle's journey with Teague the former actress Costumes thanked the readers for the experience.
Read her heartfelt message below:
"To all my Tig friends
After nearly three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it's time to say goodbye to" The Tiger ". What started as a passionate project (my small engine that could) has become an incredible community of inspiration, support, fun and thoughtfulness. You have made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those moments of Teague's discovery, keep laughing and take risks, and continue to be the "change you want to see in the world."
Above all, never forget your worth – as I told you time and again: you, my friend, are enough.
Thank you for everything. ”
Megan Markle's last note to readers of Teague .
She signed a flourishing signature – a sign of her days as a calligrapher – and focuses on her career.
A year earlier, Mark had met Prince Harry when a mutual friend found them in a blind date in July 2016 (learn more about the first time they met here). During this time, she played and operated her site without an easy feat. Probably, after she and Prince Harry have been dating for a while and things are getting serious, Markle has announced her departure from costumes .
Shortly afterwards, Mark and Prince Harry reveal to the world that they are getting married. Find out why Zara Tyndal felt uncomfortable at her royal wedding.
Today, they've been married for over a year and share a son, Archie Harrison of Mountbatton-Windsor, together.
