Last month, Microsoft started pushing Windows 10 users to its a major 1903 upgrade Unfortunately, Microsoft has just confirmed that things are not going as well for users who are now performing this upgrade. & nbsp;

Microsoft has confirmed new Windows 10 error alerts caused by several updates

Microsoft

Earlier this week, the trusted BleepingComputer reported that "numerous" users running Windows 10 1903 were affected by errors and various vague warnings about error codes when installing the most – the new KB4512508 cumulative update. Now Microsoft has confirmed the problem, but not in a way that gives confidence. & Nbsp;

In an update to Windows 10 Health Dashboard Microsoft says the issue affects 1903 versions of both Windows 10 and Windows Server, but admits that it actually started May 29, 2019 KB4497935 update three months earlier, which makes for a long period of radio silence. Microsoft says it is "working on a resolution" but does not provide a timeframe for correction. Moreover, even this is unlikely to be the end of it. & Nbsp;

As pointed out by Windows Latest Microsoft recognizes the problem as causing one error code (0x80073701) when it is only one of five errors that users see with the upgrade. The others are: 0x800f0982, 0x800f081f, 0x800f0845 and 0x8024200D. So not only is it not known if Microsoft will recognize these other issues, the codes themselves are rather vague which leaves affected users continuing to continue. & Nbsp;

Microsoft Windows 10 updates remain a minefield [19659009] WindowsCentral

All this brings us back to the forced introduction of Windows 10 1903 in the first place. The update went wrong, so pushing it to consumers does little to inspire confidence in other frauds . Microsoft is also in the running for a patch of new working vulnerabilities and Visual Basic Issues affecting every version of Windows 10.

At the moment, Microsoft needs to inspire confidence. There is a long way to go. & Nbsp;
