Miley Cyrus certainly spends her vacation in Utah with a lot of fun in the sun, but we only know this, as she caters to her fans with almost constant updates on her Instagram throughout the trip.
So much so that Miley's mother Tish even called her out for "content service" rather than enjoying a sunset photo. The singer shared a comment from her mother, who said that what she was doing was "disgusting", along with a picture of Miley sitting inside, hunched over her phone, her face lit up on the display.
If this is not the peak of millennium stereotypes, then there is no such thing. And yet, Miley – who definitely falls into this category of generations ̵
Or it would be if eagle-eyed fans and reporters (guilty) hadn't captured the image and put it online for all to see.
"It's hard to get into trouble when you're an adult, but she said I looked like a 'silly millennial,'" Miley wrote of a grainy image , quickly acknowledging, "What I'm doing."
But then, in true millennial fashion, she quickly defended her choice. "But is it bad if I like the picture and want to post?" she asked. In the last two days, Miley liked and wanted to post dozens of different times to her Instagram with several posts containing more than one image.
We saw her in the desert, on the rocks, in a canyon, overlooking a beautiful river valley, on the water and getting brazen by the pool in scarce bikini bottoms. She even shared at least one sunset with her dog Bean.
She's obviously having a good time, and based on the sheer volume of photos she shares, she definitely doesn't miss all those experiences.
But at least some of them are clearly missing, as she takes the time to share all these beauties with her nearly 100 million followers. But she is not the only one who is not just "at the moment" at any time. After all, someone has to take all of these photos, because is definitely not selfies.
Regardless, it's great to see Miley and her mother, along with their sister Brandy enjoying their time. We would say beyond the spotlight, but Miley makes sure that the social media fandom spotlights shine directly on her.
