JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- Missouri unveiled its plans for phase 1B of the state plan for vaccination against COVID-19 today. We’re still gathering more information about this evolving story, but that’s what Capitol Bureau reporter Emily Manley learned.
There will be three levels in phase 1B. First responders, emergency services and public health fall below level 1.
Stage 2 will begin receiving vaccines on Monday. People in this class include high-risk individuals such as those aged 65 and over.
Tier 3 will be residents considered critical infrastructure employees such as teachers, childcare workers, government officials and others.
Missouri vaccine distribution officials say some of those vaccinations began today.
