An employee at Alabama's Bread Panar Restaurant has been diagnosed with hepatitis A, and people who ate from this store from January 24 to February 5 may have been exposed to the disease, state officials said. No other case was reported either to the 2998 Carter Hill Road food workers in Montgomery or to people who bought food between those dates, Dr. Karen Landers, a doctor in Alabama,
that the restaurant did not report how much food was sold in the restaurant during the 15-day period but is expected to do so.
"The number does not change what we do," said Landers. in a telephone interview from Sheffield, Alabama.
The risk of exposure from a food restaurant is much smaller than that of someone in their own household, said Landers. ̵
