RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (KVEO) – The Texas Department of Public Health (DSHS) announced that more vaccines against COVID-19 will be released in Texas on Monday.
DSHS has revealed that more than 150,000 doses of the vaccine will be distributed to 234 providers in Texas and will contain 28 major vaccination centers, including three in the Rio Grande Valley.
Vaccines will be distributed to those who meet the requirements of phase 1
Vaccine centers will be available from Monday.
The state has two vaccine centers listed in Hidalgo County and one in Cameron County.
However, the RGV vaccination centers listed on the DSHS website are not yet registered.
Due to vaccine centers starting on Monday, registration links may not be available until then.
You do not need to be a county resident to get the vaccine there.
