More than 101 million Americans have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the CDC said

The number of Americans fully vaccinated against COVID-19 now exceeds 101 million, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More than 43% received at least one dose, and the average daily number of coronavirus cases decreased by 16%

There was no hiding of enthusiasm as Disneyland opened its doors on Friday after more than 400 days of closure, Michael George told CBS this morning: Saturday. Some were in line as early as 2:30 a.m., according to CBS Los Angeles.

However, capacity is limited to 25% and tickets must be purchased online ahead of time. Only California residents are allowed to visit.

In Kentucky, meanwhile, the Churchill Downs Equestrian Complex disappeared when it reopened.

But there are concerns about vaccine fluctuations, combined with new warnings about options.

In Michigan, where bars and restaurants can operate at 65% capacity, employees are using a carrot and stick approach: increase vaccination rates and more places will open up.

The level of vaccination is delayed. Take Arkansas, which is one of more than 10 states that do not order all available doses of vaccines. More than a third of Arkansas residents have received at least one dose, well below the country’s total of 43%.

Unvaccinated people may want to listen to what Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Friday.

“Bottom line of my message … A: Get vaccinated and if you have a two-dose regimen, make sure you get the second dose,” he said.
