More than 27 million ballots have already been submitted. This is where the early voting opens this week

Voters in 45 states and the District of Columbia, who provide election day data, are already registering. The ballots so far represent almost 20% of the more than 136 million ballots cast in the 2016 presidential election.

Some of the information for voters comes from Catalist, a company that provides data, analysis and other services to Democrats, academics and non-profit organizations and gives new ideas about who votes before November.

Early voters in Georgia had already cast more than 1,450,000 ballots as of Sunday afternoon. This is 152% more than in 2016, when 578,147 ballots were submitted for the same period.

As of Friday, newsletters are available in all 50 states and DC. Personal voting will begin in the coming days.

Nevada opened early personal voting on Saturday with more than 1

7,800 voters who voted in Clark County, where Las Vegas is located.

A polling station in North Las Vegas opened two hours late due to a “hardware problem,” Clark County spokesman Dan Cullin told CNN. The publication created long lines that circulated on social media, but was the only issue reported by the county, as 48 polling stations were open for the first day.

Attention is shifting to Florida on Monday as some early election venues open in the state – including in critical districts such as Broward, Duvall, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. It is clear that President Donald Trump has very few roads to the White House without winning the state. It’s possible, but it’s not really realistic. (Build your own ballot here.)

In Wisconsin, early voting begins on Tuesday. The state played a central role in Trump’s victory in 2016, with rural and working-class voters leading the rejection of Democrats across the Upper Midwest. Four years later, however, the country remains a key battlefield, but one where Trump lags behind in recent polls.
