Michael Lindell, photographed with White House notes on martial law, putting Trump loyal to CIA

Michael Lindell, CEO of My Pillow, was filmed leaving the White House on Friday with notes on the use of martial law and potential CIA change.

Among the text seen in Lindell’s notes is a reference to “… martial law, if necessary, at the first hint of any …” and the rest of the sentence is difficult. A line above that appears to read “Uprising Act now as a result of the attack on … “Another section of the notes quotes” Foreign interference in the elections “and says:” Clearly understand that this is China / Iran. ”

The notes also suggest replacing CIA Director Gina Haspel with Kash Patel, a Trump loyalist who serves as chief of staff to acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller.

“Move Cash Patel to CIA acting,” Lindel’s notes read.

As an employee of the representative Devin Nunes, R-California, Patel works to discredit the investigation of special lawyers for interfering in the Russian elections. Trump put him in his position at the Pentagon in November, following his defeat by President-elect Joe Biden.

Haspel threatened to resign in early December after learning of Trump’s plan to replace her with Patel, according to several senior officials in the administration, Axios said.

Lindel’s pictures were taken while he waited to meet with the president. Despite the dramatic moves outlined in the notes, White House officials said nothing came of the brief 5-10-minute meeting between Trump and Lindell, according to The New York Times.

If Lindell presented the ideas outlined in his notes to the president, it would not be the first time the idea of martial law has been discussed in the White House since Trump’s November 3 loss. During a meeting in December, Trump asked former national security adviser Michael Flynn to refer to martial law and discussed it during the meeting.

Lindell, a staunch supporter of Trump, continues to share false allegations of widespread voter fraud and baseless claims by Trump that he is the real winner of the election, which he lost by more than 4 percentage points.

As early as Thursday, Lindell told his Facebook supporters to “keep the faith” and: “We will have our President Donald Trump for another 4 years!”

The White House will resume the release of visitors’ diaries at Biden

During the Biden-Harris administration, the White House will again release diaries for visitors, according to incoming spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

“For the sake of clarity, the Biden-Harris administration will return to the policy of releasing diaries of White House visitors,” Psaki tweeted Friday night. “It is also true that visitors will be limited for some time, as safety during a pandemic is a top priority.”

This change is a change from the White House of President Donald Trump, who kept the diaries of visitors private. This move was heavily criticized and even faced a lawsuit in response.

The Public Citizen Consumer Protection Group took civil action against the Secret Service in August 2017, demanding that they be forced to “prepare records corresponding to FOIA requests for visitor log files and other records documenting visitors to four agencies located in the White House complex. ” These agencies are the Office of Management and Budget, Science and Technology Policy, the National Drug Control Policy and the Environmental Quality Council.

The case required the Secret Service “to terminate its policy or practice of retaining these records in violation of the EIA.”

Under Biden, the White House will return to archiving and releasing visitor diaries, as was the policy under President Barack Obama.
