Make a soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. NASA has released a new view of Mars, and it looks like Clint Eastwood is about to walk around the red planet.
The NASA Curiosity rover arrived on Mars on August 5, 201
One of the fresh glances shows what NASA describes as a “western spaghetti landscape.” Curiosity clicked the 130 images used for the panorama in December 2019. In the foreground is a place called Western Butte.

Another newly released image shows a stunning portrait of Mount Sharpe, the massive central mountain inside Gale Crater, in October 2019.
NASA shared a total of eight Martian “postcards” to mark each year for Curiosity. One image traces back to 2014 and even shows a distant view of the rover’s current location.
“I can’t help but think about the appropriate distance traveled in our understanding of the habitable past of Mars since we took this picture,” said Curiosity Deputy Project Scientist Abigail Fraeman.

This is an epic eight years for the rover. Curiosity has traveled more than 14 miles (23 kilometers) on uneven and rocky terrain. He just drilled his 27th hole on the red planet.
The rover can leave physical traces on Mars, but it also builds its impressive scientific heritage. The vehicle is sturdy and looks forward to its constant mission to peek into the past of Mars, looking for evidence that it may once have been habitable for life.
Curiosity will soon meet a friend on Mars.is scheduled to arrive in February 2021 after a successful launch in July. China is also sending a rover with its Tianwen-1 mission.
All rovers will explore different regions of Mars, so there will be no first-hand exchange of medical supplies. When it comes to Mars, the more fun.
