7;s James Webb Space Telescope is almost ready.

Each individual component is fully built, assembled and integrated.

Strict pre-launch testing can increase our chances of Webb’s success.

The retracted telescope must survive severe launch conditions without suffering damage.

Then from its cosmic environment all components must be deployed correctly.

The primary mirror segments must be unfolded, aligned with a tolerance of 20 nanometers.

All 5 layers of sunscreen must develop without being caught, torn or torn.

Earlier testing for vulnerabilities that may occur during startup and deployment.

Subsequent structural adjustments and improvements were then applied.

On October 6, 2020, NASA and Northrop Grumman successfully completed Webb’s latest environmental stress test.

For several weeks, Webb was severely tested, experiencing harsher conditions than the actual launches.

It survives high-frequency acoustic pressures, including sounds in excess of 140 decibels.

The sinusoidal vibration test shook the spacecraft intensely, exceeding the vibrational stresses occurring in the rocket.
