Hurricane Dorian invaded the United States and intensified to 140mm, a Category 4 "major" hurricane before its expected drought on Monday along Florida's east coast on Tuesday, forecasts say.

Hurricane warnings were introduced in the northwestern Bahamas when Dorian approached the island state. A direct hit in the Bahamas is likely Sunday versus Monday.
Forecasters say Dorian is likely to slow down considerably as he approaches Florida, allowing heavy rainfall, dangerous winds and a life-threatening storm to be contained.
