Nestle USA and Nestle Dreyer ice cream announce restructuring that will eliminate 126 jobs in Wisconsin, including over 30 in Appleton.
Nestle USA informs the state that it is closing facilities in Delavan and Sussex by the end of the year, completing 31 jobs at each.
The locations in Appleton and Medford will be partially closed, with a reduction of 32 employees at each site.
The redundancies will start on November 1st.
Nestle USA Announces Activity 2 News These are inventory and transfer facilities. Nestle announced in May that it would move from a delivery network directly to a store to a storage model.
Appleton redundancies are in the retail and deep-frozen supply chain. Affected jobs include pre-sales representatives, dealers, supply suppliers and sales managers in the area.
Employees are not represented by an union.
Nestle says the number of workers affected may change.
