The Holocaust: Rotating Swastikas in an Amusement Park in Germany

A new attraction in a German amusement park is closed because it looks like two swastikas. Tatzmania Amusement Park in Löffingen closed the attraction after fierce criticism on social media, where the attraction is called the Holocaust.

In addition to the swastikas, the attraction, discovered at the end of June, was also criticized for its name and design. The Eagle Fly and the large heads of gondolas on the gondolas resemble the Nazi eagle.

The attraction is also painted brown. This is the color of the uniforms of Sturmabteilung, Hitler's combat team, better known as brown shirts.

Not noticed

The resemblance to the swastika has not been noticed by the director of the amusement park, Rudiger Brown, he says in an interview with Südwestrundfunk. He only saw it on videos that were shared on the internet. The park also received no complaints.

"I want to apologize to all people who are worried about our design or feel offended," Brown says of the German operator. The director of the family business says the airplane mill will have a different look.
