The rise of Alex Collins from the training team to the Seahawks’ game day on Friday seemed like the team’s last move before the weekend, but it didn’t turn out that way.
Just hours before Seattle’s scheduled start in the playoffs and a game against the Aries, the team had to put Jonathan Bullard’s defensive end on the reserve / COVID-19 list. It is not yet clear whether the move is the result of a positive test for Bullard himself or close contact.
Today’s transactions in the @Seahawks list: put DE Jonathan Bullard in reserve / COVID-19 and activated DT Cedrick Lattimore from the training team.

The vacancy in the 53-man list was then filled by unprepared defenders for rookie Cedric Latimore, who signed with the team after the draft and spent the entire season in the team’s training squad.
Bullard is a game day inactive for the Seahawks in recent weeks, and with Jarran Reed, Bryan Mone and Poona Ford ready to play on Saturday, Lattimore is unlikely to make it.
With Brandon Shell and Damarious Randall activated from the reserve list / COVID-19 earlier in the week, Bullard is the only player Seattle has on the list.
