The financial problems of NFL star Adrian Petersen are at the center and after being hit by three separate court cases, claiming he has failed to repay millions of dollars on loans. 34-year-old Peterson seems to be dressed in money.
"The truth behind Adrian Peterson's current financial situation is more than what is being reported right now," the statement said. "Due to the ongoing legal issues, I can not go into detail, but I will say that this is another situation for an athlete who trusts the sinful people and takes advantage of the ones he trusts.
Peterson is currently facing three lawsuits, two of which have been filed in the last eight weeks. The first action was filed in 2017 by Bank of Minneapolis, which accused Peterson of defaulting on a $ 2.4 million loan that he granted in 2016, according to ESPN. Last year he was ordered to pay more than $ 600,000.
Peterson also took out a separate $ 4 million loan just a month earlier, according to court records from the Baltimore Business Journal. Later, he missed his first loan payment.
The third lawsuit filed by a lender in Pennsylvania argues that Peterson has failed to meet his $ 5.2 million loan commitment, which he reportedly has taken to pay off his previous debts.
