NFL Week 1 Results, Highlights, Updates, Schedule: Aaron Rodgers Looks Old With Two Perfect TDs

This is the opening NFL Sunday of the 2020 season and we keep you up to date on all the action and the biggest storylines throughout the day. Week 1 has some fantastic games and storylines that we can’t wait to see how they develop. Check back often to find everything you need to know about week 1.

#LetRussCook to Metcalf

In the fourth down by five to the end, the Seahawks bet a lot and were rewarded for it. The crossing route was favorable for DK Metcalf during his rookie season and it was the route he escaped for a touchdown here. It was an excellent ball by Wilson, which fell right into the hands of Metcalfe ̵

1; in exchange for a touchdown.

Rodgers looks old again

In the first quarter, the Vikings-Packers looked like what the series had been like in the last four games or something – a lot of defense – and even safety. Then Aaron Rodgers started cooking. The veteran quarterback is more motivated than ever after his team chose a quarterback from the first round, and entering Year 2 in violation of Matt Lafler, he now looks more comfortable. Rodgers caught fire in the second quarter with two omissions that reminded us of the MVP version of himself. The first touchdown included the eavesdropping beauty of Davante Adams’ catch. Marquez Valdez-Scantling then struck a bomb. See for yourself.

Carr drops a penny to Agholor

Derek Carr told reporters that he feels disrespected from this offseason and he has already gone out to shoot in 2020. Carr completed another raider raid with a well-to-dot penny to newcomer Nelson Agholor for a 23-yard touchdown. The Vegas era started well on the offensive side of the ball. In the first half, Carr made 13 of 18 attempts to pass for 141 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots are designing the perfect game for Cam’s first TD

Get used to seeing not only Cam Newton in a Patriot uniform, but also Cam Newton, who wears football around the goal for a result. In a perfectly designed play by Pats coordinator Josh McDoniels – a similar play we’ve seen Cam perform before in his career with the Panthers – Newton entered the end zone. Newton is already rushing to 26 yards and a touchdown in four attempts.

Wentz drops a perfect ball to Reiger

We have a feeling that you will hear a lot about the relationship between Carson Wentz and Jalen Reiger for a long, long time. Wentz made his rookie receiver roll early, connecting to an incredible third and long situation with a perfectly thrown deep ball over Rieger’s outer shoulder. Although Rieger initially doubted week 1 after an injury in August, he swayed and rolled.

Henry Rugs plays early

There was some speculation that the Raiders came up with by making rugs over receivers like Jerry Judy and CeeDee Lamb, but Vegas had Ruggs as a clear WR1 and they made it roll early in Week 1. Ruggs showed the speed of their trademark by loosened in the Panthers are secondary and almost turn their first big game into a touchdown.

Nyheim Hines gets the Colts on board first

Remember when the Colts traded in the second round of the NFL 2020 Draft to pick running Jonathan Taylor? Well, in the first possession of the Colts in the 2020 season, the first since the era of Philip Rivers, he did not touch the ball. Instead, running backwards, Newheim Hines hit a 12-yard run. Hines finished the drive with two touches for 18 yards. Marlon Mack scored 18 yards on three touches of the opening drive and Rivers went 3 for 3 for 34 yards. It was an impressive drive for the Colts.

Gusty winds for airplanes

Those who expect the Josh Allen MVP campaign to start earlier may want to adjust their expectations. Although the storm is not certain, but it is possible, the game Bills-Jets Week 1 will include gusty winds up to 20 miles per hour. More than anything else, the wind had a history of impact on violations on both sides of the ball – pushing out the passing game – and overall scoring. Last season, the Bills and Jets combined just 53 points in total between the two teams in their two games against each other.
