The new update, which takes the system to version 11.14.0-46U, contains an update line that will be familiar to Nintendo fans: “Further improvements have been made to the overall stability of the system and other minor adjustments to improve the user experience.”

The previous firmware update for the console arrived on December 2, 201
In September, the 3DS was officially discontinued, meaning that Nintendo no longer produces the portable console. The system has sold just over 75 million units in its lifetime – about half of the sales of the Nintendo DS.
3DS had many great end-of-life games that you may have missed after switching to Switch, including WarioWare Gold, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn, and Persona Q2. For more information, see the GameSpot 3DS game review page.
