The level of hospitalization in the country, which officials see as a key barometer for assessing threat levels, remains double. Recent data show that three new people have been admitted to medical facilities, a total of 81.
No new deaths were reported on Sunday, after a day when the death toll rose by eight to 192.
For most people, the new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough, which clear up in two to three weeks. For some, especially the elderly and people with pre-existing health problems, this can cause more serious illnesses, including pneumonia and death.
