Maps should benefit from improvements to Ampere’s architecture, such as faster beam tracking, and can add Resizable Base Address Register technology, which enhances CPU-GPU communication. Existing RTX 30 chips are technically capable, so it may just be a matter of activating the feature through software.
NVIDIA may also introduce the non-Ti RTX 3060 for virtual event desktops.
There are still some unanswered questions that you may have to wait until the end of the presentation. It is uncertain how well the graphics of the RTX 30 laptops compare with their counterparts. Energy consumption is also a mystery. RTX 30 boards consume a lot of power and it is uncertain how NVIDIA will keep this consumption under control for portable machines.
