Microsoft is currently reviewing an authentication error that affects Office 365 systems.

“Starting at approximately 21

:25 UTC, a subset of customers in the Azure Public and Azure Government cloud may encounter authentication errors for a number of Microsoft / Azure services, including access to Azure portals,” the company said in a statement. .

In another post, the company said users would not have access to Office.com, Outlook.com, Teams, Power Platform and Dynamics365.

“Existing client sessions are not affected, and any user who joins an existing session will be able to continue their sessions,” Microsoft said.

In its Twitter account, Microsoft said the root cause seemed to be a recent change and that it had decided to reverse the change.

“We have reversed the change, which is likely to be a source of impact, and are monitoring the environment to confirm that the service is recovering,” the company said 14 minutes later, saying it did not see what it expected to see.

“We do not see an increase in successful relationships after the cancellation of a recent change. We are working to evaluate additional mitigation solutions as we investigate the root cause. ”
