ONEIDA COUNTY, NY – The New York Sheriff's office warns the public after marijuana has been found with fentanyl.
"As it is now confirmed that fentanyl marijuana is in New York, I am extremely concerned about the safety of anyone using marijuana. Everyone should be aware that the potential for marijuana with fentanyl is possible and the side effects can be deadly, "said Sheriff Machiol. "We have seen the tragic results of mixing heroin and fentanyl, and I am afraid of what will happen now when mixed with marijuana," said Makiol.
