Kletty Keller, a two-time Olympic gold medalist with a gold medal from the USC, was charged Wednesday in connection with the riot at the US Capitol.
Filed in the U.S. District Court in Washington, the criminal complaint accuses Keller of knowingly entering or staying in a restricted building, behaving unreasonably in the Capitol building, and obstructing law enforcement.
A video posted on social media by a journalist from Townhall Media filmed Keller in the rotunda of the Capitol, wearing a jacket of the American Olympic team in the midst of the riot.

Keller, 38, won gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics as part of the 800m freestyle relay and did the same at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He also won a silver medal and two bronze medals during his career at the Olympics.
He attended USC from 2000 to 2001, then returned to school to complete his bachelor’s degree and train at the Trojan Swimming Club.
