One man was killed in a crash on Saturday at Interstate 385. Chief Joe Hovis, along with a South Carolina highway patrol, said it happened on I-385 near the 31-mile marker. Hovis said they received a call about the collision just before 7 am, but they do not know the exact time of the collision. Moldin Fire Department crews found the vehicle while they were at the scene of an unrelated collision with a motor vehicle, according to the office of the King of Greenville County. A 1999 Chevy pickup truck was heading north on I-385 when the driver got off on the right side of the road and went down an embankment where they hit a guardrail, Hovis said. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the truck. The driver died at the scene. a victim like Tyrone Smooth, 56, from Western Colombia.
