OnePlus will launch its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 7T series, next week via a virtual event. But CEO Pete Lau revealed the final design of the OnePlus 7T Pro handset before launch. (OnePlus is likely to announce a cheaper OnePlus 7T next week.)
"Our brand new design with 4th generation frosted glass," this morning Mr. Lau tweeted OnePlus forum post in which the company explains the design.
"No detail is too small to be refined," according to the publication. "When you look at the back of the phone, the camera is probably the first thing that gets your attention. This is an incredibly important piece of the design puzzle, so we've completely transformed the camera body for our upcoming flagship. The camera should make a bold visual statement but also naturally move with the overall design for a hassle-free appearance. ”
According to the company, the design of the OnePlus 7T Pro offers perfect symmetry of any orientation and elegantly balances the camera system with three lenses on the phone. This is the result of over 50 design iterations.
I hope OnePlus has dramatically improved the quality of the pictures a person can take with this phone: its previous flagship, the OnePlus 7 Pro, is otherwise almost perfect.
