OnePlus has seemingly closed its 2019 flagship with the launch of the OnePlus 7T Pro. You'd think we've heard about OnePlus phones this year. Well, it looks like the rumor mill is not going to close anytime soon. The alleged OnePlus 8 Pro has just come out courtesy of the popular ongoing OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles . The previews show what the company's flagship smartphone may look like for the first half of 2020.

The renderings of OnePlus 8 were also previously revealed by the source, and if these new images really represent the OnePlus 8 Pro, then the two leading 2020 killers "Don't seem to make much difference in design.

As you can see, the purported OnePlus 8 Pro seems to have a perforated display similar to the visible OnePlus 8 we saw earlier. The punch hole in which the single front camera sensor is located is located at the left end of the screen. 91Mobiles claims that the phone will have a 6.65-inch panel as opposed to the 6.5-inch display of OnePlus 8. The 90Hz refresh rate is given, as OnePlus has already confirmed that it will is so for all its future smartphones.

There's a new addition to the back of the OnePlus 8 Pro, or so it seems from the renders. The release states that the phone will have a 3D flight time sensor (ToF) in addition to the vertically aligned triple camera setup. The 3D ToF sensor became quite popular this year and we saw it on phones such as the Huawei Mate 30 Series, LG G8 ThinQ, Huawei P30 Pro, Galaxy S10 5G and more. The sensor is used to calculate distance and depth, as well as help with 3D images and AR. This suggests that the OnePlus 8 Pro could use it for enhanced portrait photos.

There is an LED flash located just below the setup of the triple camera, under which you will also find the familiar OnePlus logo.

The USB-C port lies at the bottom edge of the OnePlus 8 Pro, accompanied by a speaker grille on the left. The entire package is reported to be 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8 mm.

While OnLeaks is known to be quite accurate with its leaks, we still want to wait and see what comes closer to the OnePlus 8 launch. The design doesn't look too far from what we saw in OnePlus 7T Pro, but we're sure OnePlus has rolled up its sleeve in terms of features and specifications.
