Recently, OnePlus has added a number of its own applications to the Play Store, irritating new looks in line with the redesign of OxygenOS 11. The big tricks for major repairs so far include affordability and convenience, and OnePlus Messages is no exception. OnePlus has finally added its messaging app to the Play Store in preparation for faster updates, and it looks like the former will come with some nice new features.

The application will have several convenient improvements, starting with the much-needed ability to copy one-time passwords from notifications. Messages will also be sorted into smart categories – at the top of the screen you will find those for one-time passwords, transactions and promotions. This will leave personal messages cluttered and close to your thumb. OnePlus also advertises the new messaging app format, displaying relevant information in a clean, easy-to-read format. The Play Store list shows cards used for a quick overview of bank transactions and movie ticket information.

This update will bring some nice, not to mention overdue – looking at you, OTP – features to OnePlus Messages. If you have a OnePlus phone and want to upgrade your messaging experience, stay tuned for the latest version of the app in the Play Store.
