– The national shortage of chickens has led to the disappearance of places in Bojangles in the Triangle this week.

Bojangles Chicken Supreme’s famous auctions were not offered in many places in the area, leaving many customers disappointed.

“I noticed that about a week ago they started putting up signs in front, saying that due to a shortage of chicken, they were serving chicken, but not the strips,” said customer Barry Begley.

“What can we say? Our fans can’t get enough of our delicious, expertly seasoned fried chicken. While many of our restaurants are re-selling our famous chicken suprems, our delivery team works around the clock to ensure that all restaurants have what they need. is needed to fulfill the orders, “Bojangles Senior Communications Director Stacey McRae told WRAL News. “We appreciate your patience and understanding given the shortage of chicken that affects our entire industry. Meanwhile, there is no shortage of Cajun Filet biscuits.”

The Supremes returned to the menu at several locations on Friday, including Guess Road in Durham.

“I was told there were no chicken auctions, so we just came on a different day,” client Alexis Banks said on Friday.
