Disney has released the second trailer for Heaven and the last dragon,, giving the best look so far to the upcoming animated fantasy film, which is set to hit both theaters and the Disney Plus Premier Access program on March 5th.
The new trailer sees Raya (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran) assemble a team of warriors and fraudsters (including a surprisingly agile baby) to join her in the search for the titular “last dragon” that legends promise could save her people . But, as the trailer reveals, the mythical dragon Sisu (voiced by Awkwafina) turns out to be, in her words, “this one child [in a group project] which does not represent so much, but still ends with the same assessment. ”
In addition, the film looks absolutely stunning, as Disney Animation again takes the change to show how well it has been accomplished in creating these CGI wonders.
It’s good that Paradise it also looks like a fun movie, as it’s the only major new movie likely to be released in the first half of 2021. Another wave of delays has seen movies like There is no time to die,, Unexplored,, Ghostbusters: The Otherworld,, The king’s man, By Edgar Wright Last night in Soho,, Cinderellaand even more all the shift dates towards the end of 2021 and beyond. Other great movies, like Disney black Widow and Universal F9, will probably also move, leaving only streaming experiments such as Paradise and Warner Bros. ‘HBO Max’s approach as a major source of new movies for the next few months.
It also means that the film – only the second that Disney will release through its Disney Plus Premier Access program, which will allow subscribers to pay a premium to watch the film at the same time as its theatrical release – will be an important test for Disney. following a similar live action strategy Mulan release last year. Disney has not yet said how much it will cost Disney Plus subscribers to purchase Heaven and the last dragonbut when it came out Mulan as Premier Access, it charges $ 30.
