A fighter jet that broke the sound barrier caused a loud explosion in Paris on Wednesday, and reportedly even shook buildings in parts of the city.
The cause of the blast was unknown as the Paris police prefecture posted a tweet announcing the fighter jet as a source.
“Don’t overcrowd the emergency lines!” He said.
Some residents of the French capital said the blast shook their buildings, while others said they heard noise in nearby suburbs, Reuters reported.

No immediate damage reports.
The blast also temporarily interrupted a tennis match at the French Open, as video shows Dominique Köpfer preparing to pass a ball to Stan Wawrinka before stopping and looking at the sky in confusion.
