Part of Waltham Street is closed for outdoor dining



For the second year in a row, the city of Waltham is closing part of Moody Street to traffic to free up space for outdoor dining. Crews blocked the stretch of upper Moody Street between High and Derby street on Friday before the start of an outdoor dining on Saturday. “It’s important for our business and it’s important to make customers feel safe,” said Sally Kolura of The Tea Leaf. Crews blocked the section of Moody Street between High and Derby streets on Friday before the start of dinner in the open on Saturday.

This section of the road will be open to pedestrians, but bicycles are not allowed to pass through it.
