Pastor Artur Pavlovski shares his story of the Easter confrontation with the police: “How dare they”

Canadian Pastor Artur Pavlovski recounted his clash with Calgary police, who entered his church to ensure that COVID-19 guidelines were followed, and likened them to the religious restrictions he witnessed growing up “behind the Iron Curtain.” in Fox News Primetime.

PALOVSKI: I grew up under a communist dictatorship behind the Iron Curtain, under the shoes of the Soviets, and I tell you it’s not fun at all. It was a disaster. Police officers can break into your home at five in the morning, kill you, torture you, arrest you no matter what reason they come up with. In Poland, there was a saying ̵

1; when I grew up – of the police, “give me a man and we’ll find something for this man.” So, it was like a flashback when these cops showed up at my church. Everything came back to life from my childhood and the only thing I could do was repel the wolves like a shepherd and use my voice to get rid of them.

They illegally violated our rights during the holiest days of the Passover. How dare they? The audacity of those people who come. That was a shocking thing. I was a little shaken, but I did what every shepherd on Earth now has to do – repel wolves. As lions, we should never bow to hyenas, and that is what they are now.
