Not everyone exchanges gifts this holiday season, but if you are, you might consider shopping at your local small business. Eight months after the pandemic, ours neighborhood shops and restaurants could support us more than ever. In fact, between 1.4 million and 2.1 million Small businesses in the United States can close permanently only as a result of the first four months of the pandemic. In addition to shopping at local restaurants, you can also log in to get $ 1,000 to spend on small business this holiday season. Here’s how to apply.
Business.org is looking for someone to whom run a $ 1,000 minimum of three small businesses, online or in the store, in accordance with the COVID-19 safety instructions for your area. (And no, Amazon’s third-party vendors don’t respond to Amazon criteria for small shopping.) The selected candidate will report on the site about their experience, including details of small business customer service, price and products.
How to apply
To apply for $ 1,000, you must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. The process involves fill in this formand in 100 words or less, explaining why small business support is important to you. And unlike many of these competitive job competitions, the winner in this one will be chosen based on the quality of their application, rather than randomly.
Just be sure to get it soon – the deadline is November 30 at 7:00 PM EST. The winner will be notified by email no later than December 3, 2020, giving you enough time to receive some gifts for yourself and /or other people on your list.
