Vice President Mike Pence called on his predecessor, Joe Biden, to be frank and honest with the American people on Friday about whether he was involved or benefited from his son Hunter’s overseas business interests.

Pence added that he believes the scandal is becoming a problem for many voters after “President Trump took the case directly to the American people” in the president’s second and final debate on Thursday night.
The vice president added that it was “amazing”
“Suddenly, the media has lost all interest in … foreign efforts to influence people in American politics,” Pence said.
“Joe Biden needs to go out and find out what happened when he led the US effort in Ukraine. [Obama administration’s foreign policy] efforts in Ukraine.
He cited a widespread video made in January 2018 in which Biden openly joked to the Council on Foreign Relations that he had secured the dismissal of Ukrainian Attorney General Viktor Shokin, threatening to withhold $ 1 billion in US aid to the Kiev government.

“Joe Biden needs to step up, clean up,” repeated Pence, who went on to accuse the chairman of the Intelligence Commission, Adam B. Schiff, of California, of spreading “nonsense” about the scandal, which is a Russian disinformation campaign.
